The True Power Of The Clear Skin MAX 6 Stage Program Is In The Specially
1: Tea Tree Oil Control Daily Cleansing Gel
Clear Skin MAX™ daily cleansing gel main ingredients are Tea Tree Oil, Bladderwrack Extract and Chamomile Extract.
ea Tree Oil
Tea Tree Oil (Melaleuca alternifolia) has strong antibacterial, anti-fungal, antiseptic, and germicidal properties and has been used as a traditional remedy for hundreds of years, especially by the Aboriginal tribes of Australia.
Tea Tree Oil was included in the wound dressing kits of the Australian troops in World War 2 and it is one of few essential oils which can be used undiluted without irritating or drying the skin.
Tea tree Oil is cleansing but not as drying as soap which can actually really dry your skin out. You do not want to dry your skin out as this will cause more problems and make your face sore and cracked.
You need to keep the natural moisture of your skin, without making your skin oily. With acne, spots can become infected and inflamed and the antibacterial and antiseptic properties of Tea Tree Oil help with this tremendously.
he Department of Dermatology at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Australia conducted a single-blind randomized trial to compare the effectiveness and tolerance of 5% tea tree oil gel with 5% benzoyl peroxide lotion in 124 people with mild to moderate acne.
Over the three month period both groups experienced a significant reduction in inflamed and non-inflammed acne lesions (open and closed comedones), although tea tree oil was less effective than benzoyl peroxide.
There were fewer side effects with tea tree oil, although the tea tree oil took longer to work initially. Researchers noted that there were far less side effects in the tea tree oil group, whereas in the benzoyl peroxide group, 79 percent of people had side effects including itching, stinging, burning, and dryness.
Bladderwrack Extract
We’ve also included Bladderwrack Extract which has been shown to decrease skin thickness and significantly improve in elasticity.
A significant decrease in skin thickness and a significant improvement in elasticity were found when a Bladderwrack (Bladder Wrack) gel (1%) topically onto human cheek skin twice daily for five weeks.
[J Cosmet Sci. 2002 Jan-Feb; 53 (1): 1-9]
A gel formulation that included 1% bladderwrack extract was applied topically to human cheek skin twice daily for five weeks. A significant decrease in skin thickness and a significant improvement in elasticity was recorded. The thickness of cheek skin normally increases and the elasticity usually decreases with age. According to these results, the bladderwrack extract possesses anti-aging activities and should be useful for a variety of cosmetics.
